To dream is big;

but to dream bigger – is just plain bold!

Did you know the Bible teaches that “where there is no vision, the people perish?” Solomon was teaching us that where there is no revelation from God, there is no sense of urgency or dream for God’s people – and they flounder. Thankfully, God has given us a revelation into our future. He has placed a commission on our hearts and a plan in our hands to move our church forward into His future.

Today, we are looking forward to the next 5-7 years of ministry with a new vision to Aim Higher and Dream Bigger. The first step in this venture is to Shine Brighter. While there are many aspects to shining brighter, we know it begins here at home where God has called us to be good stewards of the resources He has entrusted to us. So, for us to Aim Higher and Dream Bigger, we need to think and prepare differently than we have in the past so that we might faithfully steward God’s blessings. To assist us, we are creating the Dream Bigger Fund.

Dream Bigger is a new approach to supporting the ongoing capital and ministry needs of FBC Peachtree City beyond our regular budget. It is born out of a desire to avoid going into debt in the future, and in response to many of our church members asking how they can support the ministry needs of our church above and beyond their regular tithes and offerings. It will be an annual event where we share with the church the priority needs for the following year that the church leadership deems pertinent to our mission.

DREAM BIGGER

WHAT IS IT?

A capital ministry fund beyond our regular, annual operating budget that supports the ongoing ministry and facility needs of FBC Peachtree City.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

First: Church staff and leadership recommend a list of priority ministry and facility projects to be completed in the following calendar year

Second: The Stewardship Team approves the list of projects

Third: The project list is communicated to the church

Fourth: Projects can only begin once they are fully funded

MISSIONS

Our mission’s strategy is rooted in the model Jesus gave us in Acts 1:8. Supporting local and global missions has been at the heart of our church since its founding. Many in our church family have been on life-changing short-term mission trips, some have been sent out for longer assignments, while others continue to serve our local community year-round. No matter the calling, God continues to send our church family to the ends of the earth, beginning where we live, work, and play right here in Peachtree City.

In 2022, 10% of Dream Bigger giving will be used missionally for starting the new disaster relief ministry. This ministry will enable our people to quickly respond when disaster strikes – with the resources necessary to provide help. Whether a hurricane makes landfall along the coast, or a tornado strikes down the street, we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus when people need it most.
