Joey Rodgers
Joey has been serving as the Senior Pastor at FBC Peachtree City since September 2011. He is a native of Atlanta and a graduate of Carson-Newman College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Throughout his ministry life, Joey has been privileged to serve in churches and ministry organizations in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Virginia, Texas, New Mexico, Montana, Norway and Germany.
Joey is married to Meg and they are the proud parents of four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing golf and hanging out with friends at Starbucks.
Craig Hamlin
Craig and his wife, Jenny, have been married since June 1996 and have one daughter, Moriah. Originally from North Carolina, Craig is a graduate of UNC Charlotte with a degree in Business Administration. He has completed a Masters of Divinity with a Biblical Languages degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and received his doctorate from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.
Craig is a passionate, personal disciple-maker who desires to connect people to Christ and to help them live out the Great Commission. His primary ministry ambition is to seek the heart of God and to see people maturing and multiplying the life of Christ in others. He has a great conviction for world missions and has started a school for pastors in Budapest, Hungary. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, wood-working, playing basketball and golf.
Rob LaLiberte
Rob LaLiberte has been serving as Worship Pastor at FBC Peachtree City since January 2015. He is native of Huntsville, AL and grew up attending Whitesburg Baptist Church. He and his amazing wife, Joy, are the proud parents of four children: Katelyn, Chris, Mckenna, and Madelyn.
He attended school at Belmont University, the University of Mobile, and Lee University. Rob has been leading worship for nearly twenty-five years and has served full-time at First Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN and Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, TX.
Rob loves having fun with his family and having date nights with his daughters. He enjoys leading worship, photography/videography, traveling, coffee, woodworking/carpentry, coffee, movies, and more coffee.
Mark Matson
Pastor Mark is a native of Sylacauga, Alabama (the home of Jim Nabors - Gomer Pyle). He began ministry at FBCPTC in 2014. Mark is a graduate of The University of Alabama (1988) with a BA in Communications/ Broadcast Journalism, as well as New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1994) with a Master of Divinity.
Mark is married to Angela (1991). They have five official and four unofficial children ranging in age from 3-37...Two biological in Alex-24 (married to Hannah) and Austin-21; Three adopted in Grace-11, Alyssa-5, and Logan-3.
Pastor Mark enjoys playing golf and tennis; spending time with his children, going to the beach, and hibernating whenever possible. His favorite movies are "Remember the Titans", "The Blindside", and "Radio". His favorite foods are Italian, pizza, burgers, and chocolate.
Cedric Beckles
Cedric Beckles is a native of The Bahamas and two-time graduate of Liberty University. He is married to Jessica - who he affectionately calls “Jay Bird” - they have a son Boston and two boxers. He served as an adult and executive pastor in Wooster, Ohio. Cedric is most passionate about growing the local church, discipleship, raising bible literacy among believers, and challenging the minds of people in the Word of God. He believes the quality of your life is determined by the quality of your relationships. Cedric is anything but your average pastor. Loves the game of golf, intrigued by hip hop, meticulous researcher, podcaster, and a straight up foodie!
Jacob Sparks
Jacob grew up in Athens, AL where he first came to know the Lord Jesus Christ. He graduated from the College at Southeastern before going on to receive an MDIV in Pastoral Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. While at Southeastern, he met his wonderful wife Erin. They now have two children, Brody and Emma Grace.
Jacob has been a pastor at different churches in North Carolina and Georgia for over 10 years. His desire in ministry is to equip the church to reach their community for Christ! In his spare time, he loves to coach his children’s sports teams, watch the Braves, and keep up with Georgia Tech athletics.
Ben Woodard
Ben grew up at First Baptist Church of Duluth where he gave his life to Jesus Christ and eventually became the Recreation Ministry Intern. Ben went on to earn an Associate of Arts in Christian Studies from Truett-McConnell College in 2008 and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Union University in 2010. Most recently, Ben graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Arts in Discipleship and Family Ministry in 2013.
Chip Yeager
Chip and his lovely wife Sara have two children, Thomas and Emma Kate. The Yeager family have been members of FBCPTC for 9 years and have been a part of the Peachtree City community for over 12 years. Chip is a graduate the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s in Communications. He has worked for more than 25 years creating branded video and media content, managed studio and business operations, and led award-winning teams, first at BellSouth, then AT&T, and most recently at Delta Air Lines. Chip enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, fishing and hanging out at the lake.
