Membership at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City is all about Partnership. Partnership in making, maturing, and mobilizing disciples who are passionately following Christ…in a local community of believers. We believe that God has placed local churches strategically to accomplish His plan…His commission…for His glory both locally and globally. And then, He calls individuals and families to be a part of those local congregations based on a sense of alignment with the church’s beliefs, purpose, and strategy.

How can you know if God may be working in your life to be a partner with First Baptist Church? For some it is almost immediate, while for others it may take some time to get clear direction. We have a process to help you gain clarity:

(1) Sign-up for and attend a Partnership Class. (Generally these are held on a Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.) However, if you cannot make a scheduled class, we may be able to complete the process in a one-on-one with a pastor.

(2) Meet with a Pastor / Minister / Membership Coach who will talk with you personally about your –

a. Gospel Testimony
b. Baptism
c. Calling to FBCPTC
d. Potential LIFE Group connections
e. Potential opportunities for serving
f. Potential interests in missions opportunities
e. Discovering your unique gifts for ministry and service.

(3) Following completion of Baptism (if necessary) and completion of the Membership Covenant, we will celebrate your decision by letting our congregation know through our E-News and/or during a worship service response time.

(4) At regular times during the first year, someone from our staff, deacons, and/or LIFE Group ministry will follow-up with you to ensure that you are connecting and finding your place of belonging and service.
