This 50 day walk is a time for us as a team/church
to be still, cease striving and know God.

We all want to know God’s will, his good, pleasing and perfect will. This walk and of focus will encourage us to understand God’s most powerful promise to us in Romans 12:2. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will.

WHAT?

We will read THE WORD together, we will PRAY together, and we will WORSHIP and honor Jesus together during HOLY WEEK.

WHY?

We all want to know God’s will, his good, pleasing and perfect will. This walk and of focus will encourage us to understand God’s most powerful promise to us in Romans 12:2. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will.

RESULT

Our relationship with God will SHIFT one step closer to Him. This walk will become a habit of always walking with HIM. We won’t come closer to God, we will continually come closer and closer to Him.

Starting on Feb 26 and for the next 50 days, we will form a team. Why? So each of us can not grow close to God…but to grow closer and closer to God.

Feb 26 – March 1 we will focus on the Word. Our church will read through the Bible, 24/7 sign up to be a part of the team.

From March 1 , Ash Wednesday through Palm Sunday, we will all read and meditate daily on a prayer devotional written by our good friend Pastor Mark Battterson. He calls it a prayer challenge that has changed hundreds of lives in his D.C. Church.

Finally during Holy Week, we will follow Jesus’ life to the glorious open tomb. Our key to eternal life with Him.

This is a walk with Jesus. No keeping score. If you get behind a day or two or a week, God’s grace says just join the walk again.

Please, please. Pray about it. Join us, our staff, and deacons as we take a walk with Jesus as a team. There is no commitment to sign, just a heart that is willing. This is a walk we don’t have to take, but because of what Jesus did for us, it’s a walk that we get to take. We will pray for each other. We will Encourage each other. And together, we will shift our relationship one step closer to Him.
