WHY DO YOU NEED A WILL/TRUST?
  1. Stewardship – Leave a Legacy
Establish a biblically focused estate plan
Many Christians leave their largest charitable gift to ministry through their estate. For many, estate taxes are optional (by directing retirement funds to charity).
  2. House in Order
Avoid having to make burial plans for a loved one in the midst of emotional distress resulting from an untimely death. Having a will also identifies who will manage your estate. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow
  3. Guardianship
Protect underage children from court appointed guardians. Prepare in advance for your children’s care and upbringing.
  4. Identify Heirs
List who should receive your assets/property.  Avoid or minimize family disputes by designating assets and family treasures.
  5. Care for Pets
List who should take care of any pets you have.
  6. Funeral Instructions
Leave instructions for your service and burial.
  7. Save Time, Money, Stress
Prepare in advance for the inevitable.
  8. Honor God
Include a personal testament and instructions on how your estate will advance the Kingdom of God.
